ILP Design_GarageBand/iMovie

For my second ILP I discussed basic English sentence, paragraph, and essay structure. I used the narration voice effect as well as underlying instruments, which I made sure are not subtle enough to take away from the lesson. I used GarageBand to record and manipulate the audio, then imported it to iMovie to add background while listening, finally after seemingly millions of zips and compressions and making things this and that, was able to upload it to youtube.

  1. Nice try! However, if you don't have anything to show, why do you use video? You can just create an audio podcast using an audio program such as Audacity. Additionally, you should be careful when you choose a background music. The kind, volume, and effect (e.g. fade in/out) depending on your materials to maximize learning rather than technology itself.

My experience with twitter so far has been smooth. Of course, this is probably to do with the fact I had already used twitter for a bit, but nonetheless it is easy to use for school-related purposes as well. I do have some issues with making the posts not so dry when using it for class, but I guess that comes with the territory.
