My experience with educational technology is limited in the grand scheme of things. However, Technology began creeping into the classroom around my freshman year of high school. With this came things like Canvas, and Moodle, which I used at Gettysburg college. Now at Florida State I have begun to become familiar with the student center as well as a few other online tools for worksheet-like assignments for French class, among others.

I hope to learn about how to effectively use technology in the classroom setting. Specifically, how to navigate all websites on both Apple and Microsoft computing systems. Also, I would like to learn how to use the tools that teachers do in the classroom, such as smartboards and how to create online assignments. I would also like to learn the ins-and-outs of all the technology teachers find themselves using throughout the day, such as copiers, scantrons, etc.

Overall I like twitter best when used causally, however I do see the useful application of twitter to an educational format. http://peaksmiddleprep.weebly.com In my experience using weekly.com to make my class webpage I feel I have gained a lot. Although at first I was considerably frustrated, working through the frustration to finally understand the website made it become fun quickly. I had a lot of trouble adding links to the site, and was confused as to how I could change the tabs in the top right-hand corner of the website from the default "ho...
